Bit About John & Bev & Our Aussies
We are a small private kennel, located in the beautiful
country side of Vankleek Hill, Ontario.
Our home has an awesome view of the Gatineau Hills from
our front veranda.
We border on the Alfred Bog which enables us to take our
Aussies out for some long walks.
Our kennel was established in 1974 and through out the years,
we have produced some outstanding
Scottish Terriers and West Highland Terriers and Kerry Blue
Terriers.
The knowledge that Bev has acquired through the years of
breeding and showing dogs reflects in our outstanding foundation
dogs.
We are proud to have bred sound dogs with good characters.

We take pride in producing Quality
not Quantity with only one or two litters per year.
Our puppies are raised in the house and are part of the
family, providing extensive socialization.
Our Australian Shepherd have a combination of top American
and Canadian
lines, that excel in the Performance fields as well as the
Conformation ring.
Brains and Beauty
Agility, Herding ,Tracking ,SAR, (Search & Rescue),Obedience
as well as Conformation Champions can be found throughout
the pedigrees of our aussies and if you check out our dog's
individual pages, you will see they are carrying
on the tradition of "versatility and performance",
earning titles in several performance venues.
We believe that a sound minded Aussie
is one of the foremost requirements in a breeding program.
The Aussie should have a great drive to work and please
his or her owner, but not be hyper.
The other fundamental requirement would be conformation.
Dogs that are sound in body so that they are able to do
the work for which they were bred.
Here at our kennel we are breeding to the Standard which
calls for "Moderation" .
The "all around" aussie with beautiful, correct
structure and movement and with lots of drive to perform
in whatever field they compete in.
When you visit the pages of our Aussies you will see them
in action and exhibiting the ability that has earned them
many titles.
What we have not shown you are our Aussies, upside down
on their doggy beds, "chillin" which they also
love to do.

Our Dogs are DNA AHT
tested
for the mutant gene for cataract, DNA for Parentage, MDRI
(drug sensitivity tests) Hips and Elbows OVC or OFA Cleared
and Eyes Cerf clear. All pups are vacicnated, dewormed,
and microchipped before leaving for their new homes.
