- The "heel position" is introduced as well
as exercises designed to increase your dog's voluntary attention.
- All aspects of PUPPY K are covered
with the addition of more distractions and motivational exercises designed to
shape the desired level of response from your dog. This helps to ensure that your
dog will obey under adverse conditions.
- Teaching
the dog to be attentive to you is necessary for ultimate co-operation.
- Obstacles such as tunnels, and jumps,
help the dogs have fun while learning and also speeds up their responses.
- Off-leash control techniques are explained
in detail and practiced individually, enabling you and your dog to reach the goal
of "Off Leash" .
- Basic
retrieving and jumps.
- Sit,
down, & stand stays at distance and with distractions.
- PROOFING
behaviors is crucial to helping the dog to understand the behavior and what his
or her job is. Proofing: adding distractions such as other dogs playing or chasing
a toy while your dog is in a sit stay. The dog learns thru making errors it is
part of the process of understanding.
